Founded in Greenwich London in 1987 Groupwork Consultation and Training Ltd (GCT Ltd) has developed a respected, proven track record in offering social groupwork education and training.

We hold courses in London and Brighton, and are consistantly asked to run in-house courses all over the British Isles.

Over the eighteen years of our existence we have built up a considerable expertise in groupwork education and training. Specialising in, and with a commitment to, the public sector. i.e.probation areas, social service departments, health and education authorities, drug projects, and various voluntary organisations and charities.

It has been our experience that for various reasons, sometimes unavoidably, staff can be 'dropped in at the deep end' to facilitate groups. Our aim is to offer enjoyable education/training experiences which will build confidence, and heighten awareness of groupwork. Our main aim is to promote a better understanding of social groupwork theory, and how this links to practice.
